Valentine's Day Idea

I should have posted this several days ago, but I forgot. So for the few of you who still check my blog, here is a cute Valentine's Day idea. Problem is, you have to start TODAY! I am doing this for Koby this year and since he never checks this blog, he is very busy working extra hours and is a little stressed about an upcoming deadline, I think I am safe to post it. Koby, if you are reading this, stop here.

I got this cute idea from a local grocery store. We don't want to spend too much money so I figured this was a great way to do something fun (especially when he is stressed out a bit) and keep the budget. We already have plans for Valentine's night so I don't have to plan anything big. (We are going to our Church stake valentines dance and dinner. Sounds kinda boring, eh? Oh no, this is the biggest event around these parts. A billion people come, they go all out with prime rib dinner and chocolate fountains. It is huge, fun, and you're whole neighborhood, adults only, is there.)

These are little coupons but they were kind of cheesy looking so I am making homemade ones with the same info on them. Here you go:

The 10 days of Valentines

Start with day 10:

10th:
On the 10th day of Valentines,
Your true love gave to you....
10 kisses made of chocolate so sweet.,
To tie you over , till the next time we meet.

9th:
On the 9th day of Valentines,
your true love gave to you...
9 sticks of gum, of course its sugarfree!
Just to say I'm glad you "chews" to stay with me!

8th:
On the 8th day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
8 yummy cookies, shaped like a heart,
To remind you, I love you even when we're apart.

7th:
On the 7th day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
7 delicious strawberries so fresh and yummy,
To say you make me laugh and I think you're cute and funny!

6th:
On the 6th day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
a 6 pack of your favorite soda pop,
To say our love hasn't fizzled and when
you kiss me I don't want you to stop!

5th:
On the 5th day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
5 Funonion Rings, (I did a different snack)
plus a few extra more.
My way of saying, it's you I adore.

4th:
On the 4th day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
4 Candy bars, each a different kind. (I don't want to kill Koby, so I'm changing this too)
Like our Children, we were blessed,
As a Daddy, you're the best!

alternate:
On the 4th day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
4 candy bars, each a different kind,
but one has peanut butter.
Hope this reminds you,
I think you're like no other!

3rd:
On the 3rd day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
3 cupcakes in a row,
cause you're the icing on my cake
and because I love you so!

2nd:
On the 2nd day of Valentines
your true love gave to you...
2 tickets to a show,
just you and I for
a night of fun will go!
(I am giving him 2 dollar bills attached to a paper saying it is a gift certificate to the $1 movies)

1st:
On the 1st day of Valentines
because you're my ONE true love...
This coupon for dinner,
so you won't have to pay.
This says I Love You,
And wish you, Happy Valentine's Day!
(Again, keeping it cheap. I bought a $10 gift certificate to Smokehouse Pizza and BBQ on Restaurant.com for $1.50. :) They have great pizza.
