This was the year we were doing a "family party" where we would go out to do something Brigg wanted to do with our family. I suggested the Aquarium since we haven't been there before and he LOVES those kind of places. Well, he said he wanted the Aquarium and a friend party. He begged for a friend party so I gave in but we didn't do the family outing as well. I had one day to get everything together for his friend party, call and invite his friends, etc. It was a hectic weekend! I think we pulled off a successful party because all the kids had fun. We did a Dr. Seuss theme since March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's birthday as well.

Playing SardinesSome of the activities were making Cat in the Hat hats, decorating Dr. Seuss door hangers, playing games, eating lunch and cake, and taking home a kite as a party favor (like the kites flown by Thing One and Thing Two). I'm a sucker and gave in to Brigg's begging. :) Maybe next year we will have the family outing.
This was Brigg's second party of the day with grandmas and grandpas and more food and presents. He was spoiled rotten! Brigg likes to tell everyone he is 5 and very big and smart.
