Koby, Maren and I went on a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We went with some friends- John, Shannon and their little boy Wesley. We stopped at Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas and we had a blast!! I cannot tell you how wonderful it was- we were mostly kid free, I didn't have to clean or make food, we had great company and I got to see new places which I love to do.
Our room- actually quite spacious especially compared to our last cruise. The crib took up room but there was a full size couch behind it.
This was Nemae- he refered to himself to Maren as grandpa. He was a wonderful, super fun waiter. It was fun cruising with little kids- all the cruise ship staff stopped us to coo at the kids. We were stopped and looked at by everyone. Maren got a lot of attention!
Koby wanted to go to the Pinnacle Steakhouse- the 5 star restaurant onboard. I thought it was a waste of money since the food in the dining room is already amazing. The restaurant was $30 a plate. SO worth it!! The food was SO tasty. And pretty. I'm glad the guys talked us into going. The whole event was 2 1/2 hrs. long. As you can see, the kids both fell asleep. :)
This is where the Pacific ocean stole Koby's glasses from off his face and are now lost at sea. An expensive loss!! Thank goodness Koby had brought he contacts along so he could actually see the rest of our vacation.
Maren was a VERY good baby. The only complaint I had was her sleeping habits which weren't good. But for having random and sporadic naps and not sleeping well at night anyway, she was a wonderful traveler. I loved having her along and we bonded a lot. Koby was able to bond as well. :)
Cabo: this is where my camera started lose battery charge because I took a bazillion pictures of this sea lion trying to get a good one. Little did I know that in an hour, i would see a rock covered in sea lions but alas, my camera was dead. So tragic!!
The water was so beautiful, the sand was warm and perfect, and I could stay a week here. Maybe we will go back someday.
I've just been waiting for you to post pictures of the cruise! Looks like an adventure, and I can't wait to see more!
