Em's Birthday/ Girl's Night Out!!

I can't tell you how excited I was for this day. It was my bestest friend Emily's birthday and we were going to party! Well, party as much as a school teacher and mom of 3 can do on a Friday night during busy December. :)

First we went to Los Hermanos and walked state street in Provo. We got to take a picture of the Provo Tabernacle which happened to burn down the following week. If I had known this, I would have taken the time to go give the Tabernacle a kiss goodbye. It was very beautiful though.

At Em's apartment we put on our pajamas and matching fuzzy socks, ate lots of ice cream and chocolate and watched a movie. We had pedicure kits but didn't have the time to do pedicures. Next time!

We stayed up until 3 am hanging out and talking then finally crashed. The next day we did a tiny bit of shopping, printed a newsletter for Em's church calling, went out to lunch and then called it a day. It was a blast and we are going to make this tradition! I'm sure I had more fun than Emily on her birthday sleepover. (The first night I have been away from my kids- ever! I didn't even have to share my Brisa with Koby or the kids! It was delightful!)
