5 years and we still got it!

Yesterday, the 24th, was our 5th anniversary! Wahoo! Doesn't seem that long ago, yet I can't remember being single very well. Koby brought home this BEAUTIFUL flower arrangement. He picked out the flowers and the florists did the arranging. I think he did a great job. They are some of my favorite colors, especially this time of year, and some of my favorite flowers. You gotta live up the romantic things he does because he is not naturally the romantic type. :)

The day was pretty laid-back. We went out to eat, went to the mall and bought new shoes (like I said, gotta live up the moment. Koby go shopping with me? Not often) and then came home and watched Transformers. :) Usually I like to do more for an anniversary but this day was great since I am feeling the effects of being 35 wks. pregnant and so I am pretty tired. It doesn't help when Kanoba thought it would be good to "break mommy in" for the new baby coming- he has been pulling a week long stunt of getting up many times a night for no reason but to come into my room. Sometimes 4 times a night. And usually right when I am finally falling back to sleep. Anyway, the anniversary was great and I am looking forward to a hundred more!

So a spider has taken residence on my front door without paying rent. I guess he figures it should be for free because he is adding to my Halloween decor. I don't agree, especially when I opened the door and he did a flying "spiderman" twirly flip into my front room and made a getaway. Apparently he thinks his accommodations outside are not as good as the one inside. I caught him in a jar and took him out to the grass to live his life there. Two hours later, when I opened the front door again, he pulled the trick (with no treat) again! Jumped from off the door and scurried across the floor. And boy, is he fast! I caught him again and took him to the far reaches of our yard and let him try to find another home. If he comes back again, 3 strikes and he lives a life down the toilet. The funny thing was that about an hour later, I came upstairs to the office, and there was a spider that looked just like Mr. Sneakypants outside on my window. I think it must be his cousin, Miss Hairybum.

Well, here is post #2. I don't think there are any people yet reading my posts because I haven't told anyone yet. :) I have to figure out how to do that next.

  3. By the way, I went outside later that night and he was BACK!!! I didn't get it- I put him far away in the yard, but Koby explained he followed his pheromones home. Darn pheromones.
