Two nights ago Kanoba woke up every 1 1/2 hrs. complaining his foot hurt. I didn't see anything wrong with it and didn't know how to help it. All I could do was rub it. After the LONG, tiring night, I asked Kanoba that morning if his foot still hurt. His reply, "No, all better now!". Arg.
Scene: Putting Kanoba down for his nap, Kanoba picking his nose.
Me: "Don't do that, that is gross"
Kanoba: "Mom, you go out of the room and I will pick my nose."
Scene: Reading Kanoba books before his nap.
Me: "Yuck, you stink! You have a yucky diaper!"
Kanoba: Turning to put his smelly bum towards my face, "I'm a skunk, I spray you!" Aiming his bum at the baby, "I spray the baby too!"
Thanks Kanoba, thanks.....
Scene: Getting Kanoba ready for bed. He is currently naked.
Me: "Come'on Kanoba, get your jammies on."
Kanoba: "Mom, I wear these naked jammies."
'Naked Jammies.' (Ha, ha) Isn't that really the perfect summary of what it means to be in boyhood?!
