This is just a funny thing he said. We were coming home from having a picnic at my parent's campground and he was SO upset that we weren't camping. He said "I want to go on a picnic!" I said, "You mean camping?" He said "No, a picnic-fire-tent!" Well, I guess that Kanobism has all the aspects of camping! I felt so bad so we came home and set up this:
And just for some updates:
Ever since my last post, Pumpkin has been sleeping from 9:30 or 10ish to 4 ish straight or later!! Whew. She is also sleeping in her crib for a good 1 1/2 hr. naps. Putting herself to sleep without crying much too. I think she knew I had ranted a little about her sleeping habits and she didn't want to lose her reputation as being the best baby ever. (Little does she know she definitely has her moments.) Mommy has been feeling much better and more her self.
Also, as of the day I last posted, Kanoba decided out of the blue, on his own that he was potty training. We have gone 3 days with NO poopy accidents (I am still in shock) and just 3 pee accidents (and just partial ones). Where did this kid come from? I can't even remember how many times we have tried potty training. I don't want to say we are there yet cuz we definitely aren't, but I am celebrating the little success! I am so happy for Kanoba! (And me- no more big boy poopy diapers I hope! Of course we just started solids with Pumpkin and now her diapers stink. Ahh, isn't that just life?)
Congrats on the potty training and sleeping finally! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the big open mouth slobbery kisses! they are my favorite! Jacob loved to do that until he started biteing me. then he didn't like it anymore, cuz i didn't like it anymore! congrats on the sleep and potty training! Both are such a releif!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're getting more sleep.
ReplyDeleteMy kids also like camping way more than I do and especially way more than Andy does. They often construct their own tents/forts in the family room and "pretend camp." I suppose I am depriving them...
