Our Christmas letter- Just in case you didn't get it.

Dear Family and Friends,

Tis the season for Christmas cards and letters. It has been a busy, full year. I'd like to say that the reason why you are getting our letter through email is because we are very environmentally conscience, that we are “going green”. Unfortunately it is just because Alicia has been lazy. Hopefully next year you will get a real card in the mail.

Just a quick update on our little family:

Koby is busy doing what he does best- keeping busy. He has been working hard at work- doing computer geek stuff. He really enjoys his work and the people he works with. He has also just received a calling in our ward to be the ward missionary leader. It is a huge task as there are many inactive/ nonmember families in our little neighborhood ward. There is a pretty high percentage considering we live in Mormon central, Utah. Our neighbors are so great and he is really enjoying his calling and making lots of friends. Koby has been able to get out snow boarding at the beginning of the year and he hopes to get out again this winter. Time and money don't allow him to hit the slopes as much as he'd like. Koby has also done a lot of projects around the house and Alicia encourages this behavior.

Alicia has been busy being a mom to two active kids. Her free time has been drastically reduced but she has had fun getting the kids out of the house to go do activities. She enjoys hanging out with friends, reading and being the leader of her church book group. She is also on several church committees. Since our apple tree mass produced a million apples this year, she spent weeks making applesauce, apple butter, dried apples, and apple pie filling. It was hard work and a pain in the back, but the outcome is delicious.

Koby and Alicia were also able to run the St. George Marathon this year. The training and race was an experience they will never forget. It was an amazing journey- one they hope to repeat again. It could not have been possible without the support from wonderful family who helped take care of kids.

Brigg will be turning 4 on March 2 and he is growing up so fast! He loves to talk, play with his cousins and friends, go to preschool, play outside, eat candy, play with his toys- specifically all his “guys” and ninja turtles, and playing with his sister. He also loves movies, playing the computer and going camping. He often dresses “down” in his underwear, a hat, boots and his weapons. He is a happy kid. He is very excited for Christmas and to finally open his presents. He is a great big brother.

Kallie just turned one on Dec. 8th. She has been such a fun girl. She is full of personality and sweetness. She adores her brother and loves playing with him. She is good a making odd noises, eating big people food, and making messes. She loves her blankie, playing with laundry and spreading it around the house, being outside, and running around the house. She is so beautiful in her family's eyes and it is fun having another girl around the house.

We are so thankful for our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the joy and hope He gives us. We love celebrating Christ's birth and He has blessed us so abundantly this year. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. We are grateful for all our friends and family who make our lives so happy!

Merry Christmas!

Love, Koby, Alicia, Brigg and Kallie
