Braving the Crowds

On the last tuesday of the month of August, we braved the crowds at Thanksgiving Point and their $2 tuesday at the Dinosaur Museum. School was "in" but that didn't affect the crowds. There were thousands of preschoolers and parents lined up but we decided to venture inside anyway. We went with some friends: Koren, Isabelle and Mica (Isabelle is one year younger than Brigg but you wouldn't know it, and Mica is 3 days older than Kallie- I couldn't convince Koren to have another at the same time as I did. I think she feels very grateful when she sees me chasing 3 around. :)

Kallie contemplating all things dinosaur

Kallie was ready to take on the dinosaur

Are we having fun yet?

Another one of Kallie. She was my closest photo target.

I thik Maren was passing gas as I took this one. Aw mom, how embarassing!

A rare picture of mom and child.

What kid doesn't love water and sand?

The token shark picture. I got one kid to look my way.

Until next year!

  1. I'm impressed. I heard about the crowds at $2 Tuesdays while I was there and was not so brave. You are my hero! You're already out and about with three kids! HIGH FIVE!

  2. I was there too. I missed you. We got there when the doors opened and decided to go to farm country instead. We didn't want to wait an hour in the line to get into the museum. I am glad you had a good time.

  4. You are a brave woman. We went to the dinosaur museum once this summer. The kids liked it. I'm thinking of taking the the dinosaur quarry in Price in the no so distant future. I need to do more family field trips.
