This is the second time this has happened. It always takes me by surprise and I gasp while running to change my clothes.

Maren has wet on me two times now and it is always a perfect shot to where it looks like I wet my pants. I finally took a picture this last time because I thought it was pretty funny. You'd think I'd learn to get a diaper on her faster.

Here is the cute culprit.

This was a BBQ and playing with family.

A sideways shot of some yummy garden food and a huge conquest- I canned a batch of peaches! I have been drooling over peaches and desperatly wanting to can some since my supply from last year has been gone for a long time. I told myself not to worry about peaches this year because I have enough on my hands. I couldn't do it though, but I did only allow myself to can 2 batches. It made me feel good to know I will have some peaches for the winter. I even got 4 jars of tomatoes while I was at it.

Science outside Koby's office/ basement window. In one day we saw 2 praying mantises (sp?) "multiplying and replenishing the earth", a nasty black widow, and a trapped mouse. What fun! All of them are dead now. The black widow got to the preying mantis, I killed the black widow with poison, and the mouse licked up some poison insect and killed itself. We got a lot of "facts of life" lessons in that day.

Brigg at his first day of preschool. Everyday is a different emotion- He hates it, he loves it, he freaks out, he is having fun, etc. Our current problem is he doesn't want to go anymore and wants to stay home with me. I don't know how to handle this one since I've tried bribing, disciplining, having someone else take him, etc. He may not want to go to preschool but I want him to go! It is better than him home asking me what he can do every 5 minutes.

The kids made there own impromptu picnic on the deck It was too cute!

And a last shot of the cute, growing baby! She is getting plenty chubby and has had 4 random nights of sleeping 8 hours straight! I'm hoping she keeps this trend up! She is currently 7 1/2 weeks old.
You are awesome...two little kids, a newborn, and canning? what the heck? nice work! looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lot of trouble with Jenna not wanting to go to preschool last year. I would usually bribe her by saying we would make a treat when she came home, if she was good. It kind of worked, some times. Mostly I would just leave her at school upset. Usually when I picked her up she was happy, so that was reassuring. Her teacher said she would usually cheer up pretty quickly. It got better slowly over the course of the year. I won't say it was every great.
ReplyDeleteThis year is so different in that respect. She is happy and only a tiny bit clingy when I drop her off. It was worth the hassle last year. If you can stick with it, and you like the preschool, it will hopefully resolve itself, and he will be ready for school (Kindergarten?) next year.
Your kids are adorable. I don't know how I feel about you blaming your incontinence on your beautiful baby girl. :) Just kidding. Nice shot Maren!
