Life has been steadily busy busy. I think it must be 3 kids. I thought life would calm down a bit but it hasn't yet so I guess I better get used to it because I'm sure it will just get busier!!
My calling as personal progress leader has kept me super busy. We just had New Beginnings and I think it turned out well. My favorite part was that I got to introduce a plan to the young woman of helping out another young woman with her personal progress. We watched a sweet video that was on Mormon Messages about a girl who has severe autism and was able to get her Young Womanhood Medalion because her young womens group did personal progress for her. We have a Beehive who has Down Syndrome and we decided we are going to do the same for her. I made a scrapbook and sign up sheets for the girls to sign up for a goal they want to do for Brecia. They have to do that goal for themselves and then do it agian for Brecia. The young women in the ward LOVE Brecia and I was so excited because I knew they would be so excited to do it for her. So that is one project we are doing in personal progress. In the meantime, I'm trying to get my own personal progress done. I did it once as a young women but they encourage the leaders to do it so..... what kind of example am I if I can't do it myself! Man it is hard work and takes a lot of time! 1 1/2 goals down, many more to go! I hope I make it before they release me! :)
I am also gearing up for a real garden this year. I took a gardening class through our stake by Gordon Wells. He had all these techniques that are really quite simple so I'm going to experiment this year and see if they really produce the amazing things he promises. Bushels of tomatoes off of one plant?? I don't believe it but we are going to see! Hopefully I have pictures to prove it later! I am also going to finally tackle my flower beds. They may not have beautiful flowers but i hope to at least have them weed free!
I took a few pictures with my phone and uploaded them so I guess you get dregs from the pot.
Lexie, Mallory, Maren and KallieThis picture, however, is pretty darn cute! Back in February I babysat my brother's two girls for a day while they went out of town. Mallory is 3 months older than Kallie and Mallory is 8 months older than Maren. They all get along really well and are sure cute together!! This was taken right before nap time. :)

Koby and I eating at the lodge on top of the back mountain peak. I love hanging out with my best friend doing something we love together. We went to Brighton this last Friday night for possibly our last ski/ snowboard run of the season. It was so much fun!! I want to go all the time but we really out did our non existent budget. :) Skiing sure did make the winter so much more bearable. I hope that we can take Brigg next year and get him into lessons.

Koby has spent many days fixing up the ol' off roading truck. We haven't been off roading since Kallie was born. The truck has been sitting in our back yard (that is right, we are the white trash neighbors. At least we got rid of the toilet that sat in our back yard for the first few months of moving in). We are planning on an off road trip to Hole in the Rock down in south Utah. I'm so excited! I read Undaunted by Gerald Lund and it made me REALLY want to go see that trail and sites of the Hole in the Rock pioneer expedition. Several other family members on Koby's side read the book too and are going too although we have had several people back out. Can you believe I have never been to Lake Powell either? At least I will get to see a bit of it through a hole. :)
Maren and Kallie were just sitting on the curb watching their daddy change the oil. It was too cute.
And here is the man himself. Don't let him scare you away for too long!
