A Saturday in the Spring

We attended an adoption fund raiser 5k for some family friends. They were actually in Florida to adopt the baby while the 5k was going. It was a great event and we were happy to help the little bit we could. The 5k could have been on mostly all pavement but half of it was on the grass- not particularly fun when pushing a stroller. Brigg rode his bike while Koby tried to keep up and I was way back with the girls.

Afterwards, we decided to use the free passes we had to the Kennecott Mine. It was the first time I have been there and it was a lot of fun. Very impressive pit.

The trucks were MASSIVE but looked like toys from way up high. Even Koby was impressed by how much they hauled. Brigg was enthralled with everything and the small museum was packed with information and things to look at.
