Brigg and Kallie took swim lessons at the Orem Rec Center in May and again at Lindon City Pool in June. The LOVED it and had a great time. I think they learned a lot. Kallie almost caught up in levels to Brigg. Brigg has improved a ton even since the lessons but I hope they don't lose what they have learned this winter. I plan on putting them back in later. Maren and I hung out watching the other kids. She begged for lessons so I signed her up for her own lesson at Lindon. She didn't like the man that was there (she likes girls better) and I was frustrated because the first thing he did was have the little kids blow bubbles. Maren knows how to do that but it was scary and there was a scary man. We switched her to a female teacher but by then, she wasn't going to participate. I said forget it and got most of my money back. About halfway through the week, she decided she wanted lessons. Maybe next year!
Just to throw this picture in, Brigg performed in the school dance day with his class. This is one of his best friends Lucas. I didn't get to go because I had dance rehearsal with Kallie but Koby said Brigg was a goofball and yelled out "Number One" at the end and did a little solo dance at the end- totally improv. He said he was dying laughing and missed getting it on camera by seconds because the camera died. What a funny kid!
