Kanoba was born in March, 2005 at 9:58 PM, just 2 hrs and 2 mins. shy of his dad's birth day prediction (made many months before). He was breech so he was born by c-section. He was so adorable! He was a very good baby and slept well, ate well, and has been very healthy.

He is the second grandchild on my side and 16th on Koby's side of the family. He had two favorite blankets shown in the picture above. One was made by grandma Nina and the other by aunt Rynell.

He was a late crawler (he liked to scoot on his back) and an early walker.

He absolutely loves his daddy although he was a momma's boy until about 6 months ago (right about when I was going to have the baby). He mauls his daddy when he comes home and hangs on him until bedtime.

He is also a snuggler and frequently fell asleep on his daddy while watching movies.

He is very funny and is always doing something to make me laugh. He has an incredible memory and will remember things after only seeing them once. He knows exactly where we are when we are in the car.
His favorite colors (I think- it changes all the time) are green and purple. His favorite thing is candy. He loves juice, cheese, noodles, all fruit, avocado, chips, pizza, smoothies and hot dogs. He is constantly running and he is very active. He is fairly outgoing and will make himself at home in any person's house. He has a cute laugh and his cry often sounds like he is laughing. He is extremely accident prone and always has a cut, bruise or bump. Probably because he is always running!
Kanoba loves to play outdoors, swim, play with his ninja turtles and super heroes, watch movies, play the computer, play with his cousins and friends, eat, read books, go to the dinosaur museum or the zoo, make messes, imagine up things, and be with his family.
Kanoba adores his little sister and she absolutely adores him. He likes to pretend he is a baby like her. He says when he grows up he wants to play all types of sports, go on a mission (to Madagascar), be a daddy, and do everything the big kids do. To my dismay, potty training doesn't seem to be on that list. He is a stubborn and strong willed boy. He has become a little man and he is very independent. He gets his own food, makes his bed, dresses himself, and helps his parents. He is very sweet natured. We love him!!!
Awwwww. I love it. :)
ReplyDeletehe's a cutie! good luck with the potty training though! we had to do it at least 4 times with olivia before she finally got it. now she's a pro though and i don't think (knock on wood) she'll ever go back... it took giving her a shower after each accident for a week before she finally decided that she would use the potty to poop... pure torture! but i'm glad it's all over for about another 6 months, then we get to start all over again with Jacob! yippie! : )
ReplyDeleteYeah! Thanks for playing along! He is so cute. It was fun to get to know him a little more. You are an amazing mom.
ReplyDeleteI love this part
