4th of July Weekend

We had the opportunity to spend our 4th of July weekend up at the Heber Valley Campground where Koby's parents are serving their mission. Since they didn't have young women up on Monday the 4th, we got to stay an extra day! We headed up Saturday at 5 pm and went in the paddle boats on the lake.

It was gorgeous!

Rhett was in the mid-west working but he surprised us by showing up at camp! He found us by radio on our nature walk and we brought him back into camp where Marlo was. She had no idea he was there and it was really neat to see the reunion! It had been a LONG time since the kids and Marlo had seen Rhett. It was fun being in on the secret too.

I let Brigg stay up later than normal to hang out and this is where I found him... in the kitchen playing his cousin's Nintento DS.

This is where my camera battery died. I didn't get pictures of the huge swing. Brigg went almost all the way to the top, Kallie went on it, and even Maren went on it for a minute. She cried because she wanted to go on it and then cried because she wanted off. Silly girl.

It was a great time at camp and the kids LOVED being with their cousins. It was nice to have our own cabin where I didn't have to worry about my kids waking up other people. It was also nice to bond with family, especially those we don't get to see very often like Jerry and Jenni's family. It is always so nice to get out in nature too!
