We had a family trip down to Zion's planned and part of it was to go rappel some canyons in Zions.
I have been rock climbing indoors and did some rappelling at Camp Williams when I was in high school, but never out in the wild or from high heights. So we did a practice run in AF canyon. Whew, it was an adrenaline rush! It was about a 50ft. cliff. I was pretty calm though, more than I thought I would be, and I attribute it to doing yoga that morning. Seriously.

This run was a a little technically difficult. Devin said it would be harder than what we would be doing in Zions. (There was a ledge and maneuvering around rocks and then a free fall at the end).
That wasn't the problem, the problem was that I was high up on the edge of a cliff!
