July Adventures

July was action packed. One day we went with my dear friend Koren and her 3 kids to the Church History Museum to see their new children's section. I was very impressed!

Mica- he is 3 days older than Kallie although she was 10 days late!

This pretty yellow bird was stuck in our garage- it finally got out later in the day.

An evening walk around down town Provo. We got dinner at the India Palace. Yum! (Bombay House is still my favorite)

Rynell, who plays the bass in the Timpanogos Symphony and Orchestra, gave us 2 tickets to the play Cinderella. She was playing in the live orchestra. It was a fun girls date with Kallie.
Kallie loved it even though she wouldn't pose for a picture.

While we were at the play, Koby took Brigg and Maren off-roading up AF canyon. Rhett and Marlo and their family went as well. Brigg was running around in the dark while Koby was putting the Rodeo on the trailer. Brigg ran right into the trailer ramp and fell right on the ramp metal. I'm sure he broke his nose. It was swollen and blue/ green for over a week. Poor kid.

Kallie took a 6 week summer gymnastics course. She was shy at every beginning of class but warmed up by the time warm ups were over (ha ha) and had a blast. She really loved gymnastics. I keeping her in dance for now but she may want to switch to gymnastics. We shall see.

My good friend Mindy has moved back to Utah and is currently living at her mom's house which happens to be in my ward! Her husband was still in New Mexico working so we played! Sara, Mindy and I did playgroups every week. This was the Highland splash pad that we went to. Another week we tie-dyed shirts, another time we hung out at Mindy's parents' house and another week we went to Thanksgiving Point Children's Gardens. It was so fun and I'm excited for future playgroups.

Sara's Kjerstin and my Maren

I also had to get in one trip to BYU's dinosaur museum and the Bean museum. The kids loved it, as always!

And the adventures continue....
