Saturday Off-roading

I was somewhat jealous of Koby's last off-roading trip up AF canyon so I asked him to plan another trip. Koby didn't complain about that. We headed up a Saturday in September and met Rhett and his two boys Van and Ryan up at the reservoir. While we waited for Rhett and kids, we walked around and ate lunch. Brigg found a grasshopper that didn't hop away. He picked it up and it stayed on his arm. He decided it was his new pet.

Beautiful scenery!

It was so nice to get out into the beautiful mountains and fresh air. I'm also glad we were able to drive the trail to the lake instead of hiking. :) Maybe someday we will go back and camp at Forest Lake again. With our gun. I don't like bears.
