Trip to BYU

This summer was the BYU summer. We attended a bunch of their children's activities. Our first one was the Planetarium. Cousin Seth happened to be in town so he came along! Brigg LOVES hanging out with his cousins. I really likes Seth.
I have never been to the BYU planetarium. It was about time! It was a fun experience and the kids had a blast. We had a picnic on the lawn near the naked Indian, we went and visited cousin Mallory at the Cougar Eat, we had enormous ice cream cones, rolled down the big hill by the library, and walked around campus. I might mention here that Maren stopped taking naps when she potty trained. I believe this trip was just after potty training and she did fabulous! It also opened up our whole summer to not being tied down to nap time.

I didn't get pictures of the other BYU experiences, but we went the Museum of Peoples and Cultures (another first for me) that was super fun. We had a tour and saw lots of masks, learned a lot and the kids made their own masks at the end.
We also attended family Saturdays at the Art Museum several times. The kids leaned about different art subjects and made crafts afterwards. One was a picture frame and then they got to dress up and have their picture taken to be put in the frame. Another day they made a Kaleidescope. Once life settles down a bit, I think we will attend another Art Museum saturday.
