I really am going to update this blog more, really! I have so much to catch up on but I haven't been doing so because I'm so darn exhausted and tired and don't want to do anything at night except read a book or veg out. I guess that is what happens when you are preggers. I'm 13 weeks along and I hope to be getting out of the exhausted stage soon. Koby and I heard the heartbeat at the 11 wk appt and it was so surreal- I wasn't actually convinced I was pregnant until I heard that sound. We are pretty excited (and very nervous at first) but I'm feeling more and more comfortable with this decision.... until I get big and uncomfortable. :) But until then, I'm trying to enjoy this pregnancy as much as possible.
The baby is due in May (supposedly the 10th but we will see what the ultrasound says) and I'm excited to be having a spring baby. That is what we wanted although May will be crazy insane with all the school things/ dance concerts/ preschool graduation etc. going on as well. But we will survive. It all happened fairly quick and I was very surprised because my average "trying to get pregnant" time is 8 months. So I guess we were ready to have a baby join our family!
I'm hoping for a boy but will be happy with a girl. I'm thinking it may be a girl because I haven't had much sickness with this pregnancy. Just a few icky days and a few icky moments. No throwing up like with Brigg. I'll be surprised if it is a boy. 20 weeks is the week of Christmas so I'm hoping we get to find out during that time! How fun would that be!
Anyhow, I wanted to put this in the blog to record the exciting news for our family. The kids are very excited and they love to see the baby's progress week to week on via the Internet. I will get back to catching up soon and then blogging in real time I hope. :)
