A sad, sad story

I know there are sadder stories than this out there but this is my sad tale and it affects you, so listen up. In order to cross off one of my to-do items (see previous post, "5 things on my to-do list today", #5) we decided to go sledding at Pah-ka and Grandma's house. I was able to take a picture of Koby going down the hill then I decided to brave the hill myself. I went down two times before I realized the camera was no longer in my pocket. After a long time searching and digging up the hill, we still did not find the camera. It is missing in action. The camera had a cold death, entombed in an icy grave until the spring thaw. I was hoping to search for any bodily remains today but it is snowing, again. This is where you are horribly affected. Your computer screens will no longer be inundated with pictures of the cutest kids ever. My blog will be boring without their beautiful smiles- that is the real tragedy. Don't cry too much, I wouldn't want my news to cause you too much depression. Hopefully we will get a new camera soon but I haven't quite given up hope in finding our camera. It is only day 2. Our camera is a survivor.

  1. When I saw the title to your blog, I honest-to-goodness thought that you were going to write about Heath Ledger dying. To which I thought "Wow, I didn't know Slish had a crush on Heath Ledger, too!" Which is sad in its own way, actually. But I am very sad about your camera as well. :(

  3. That is terrible.

I have managed to drop Andy's cameras (once at swimming lessons!), which is why I don't take the photos.

    So sorry for your loss.
