Random facts and a not so hidden message

1. I can't, literally can't Pay full price for anything. It is against my nature. As long as it has sale or clearance on the price tag, I'm good. Or I need to at least research the item and find the cheapest price before I can buy it. I have to feel that I am getting a good deal, even if I am spending a lot of money for whatever it is. However, I do like quality things as well. I find what I want, then find it at the price I want, or I don't buy it. Unfortunately marketing techniques are geared for me- everything is usually on some kind of "sale".

2. My favorite room in the house is my bedroom. I love to hang out there and Read a book, watch a movie with Koby, sleep (ah) or look out the window with my kids. It has an amazing view of the valley and I feel so "at home" in there.

3. I love to Eat. Especially salty things. Coming off of marathon training is not good- I think I can still eat whatever I want. The holidays were not good- I thought I could eat whatever I wanted. But I still like to eat good food. Some of my favorite things right now are quesadillas, Costa Vida/Cafe Rio, Spaghetti Factory's creamy pesto dressing, Kneaders asiago cheese bread and soup, homemade turkey sandwiches, anything mexican, and fresh fruit. Mmmmmm. (It is lunch time.)

4. I have been a little and a lot Grumpy lately. Unfortunately the grumpier I get, the grumpier my kids get. My kids get grumpy and then it makes me grumpy. It is a never ending cycle. Kallie has learned to through killer tantrums. We are working through it though. It is nice that the sun has been coming out more recently and I am starting to get spring fever! Then I can take my grumpy self and grumpy kids and go get some vitamin D and play outside.

5. I absolutely love my Neighborhood. I sometimes wish I lived in more of a starter home community because I could socialize with more poeple my own age and stage of life, but I don't think I would trade my neighborhood for anything. Even though my kids are the only ones under the age of 14 in my cul-de-sac, our neighbors are awesome. We have a bijillion men who fight each other in order to be the first ones to snowblow/ plow everyone's walks and driveways. They plow the snow multiple times a day too. Everyone is always helping out someone else, people are so kind and I never feel like I have to keep up with the Jone's. Everyone is so down to earth. I love it! Besides, our sets of parents are in easy walking distance!

6. A tornado recently struck my house. The T5 tornado is named Kallie, the T4 is Brigg. I have a lot of damage control to do.

7. My family is in dire Need of haircuts. The boys are getting shaggy and I think I will trim Kallie's mullet. It's time.

8. My top T.V. shows that I am watching right now, or looking forward to:
Chuck- Arg, hate waiting for it to start again after the "break"
Psych -Finally back after a "break"
24 wahoo! It has been a long 2 year "break"
Smallville - not loving that Lona is back, I'm sick of her.
Lost
edit: I had battlestar galactica on here but removed. After watching many episodes, I decided I don't like it at all.

  5. Congrats! I am so excited for you. Having them close is a bit challenging in the beginning, but they are such good buddies later that it makes up for it.
